Debbie Wignall

BA(Hons) Primary Education with QTS, University of Wales Institute Cardiff 

Debbie joined BIS as a permanent staff member in August 2025, having previously completed supply work and then a maternity cover post at the Early Years Campus. Before that, she worked in UK schools for 13 years. She moved to Vietnam in January 2024 when her husband was relocated here for work.

Debbie has two young sons who joined F1 and F3 at the time of their move, and they are now looking forward to starting another school year in F3 and Year 2 in August. She has loved being part of the welcoming school community—first as a parent and now as a teacher as well. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
