Ling joined BIS as a Teacher of Mandarin Chinese in August 2019. Her teaching career began after graduating from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2012. She obtained her PGCEi from Queen’s University Belfast in 2016. Prior to joining BIS, she taught at Tenby International School, Penang, in Malaysia for 4 years and is particularly proud of the ten Cambridge Examination “Top in World” scores achieved by her students. She is an experienced IGCSE and A Level Chinese Teacher with excellent communication skills demonstrated by high degree of fluency of both Mandarin and English. Yee Ling is a committed lifelong learner and is currently pursuing Masters level study in Chinese Language Teaching. Out of the classroom Yee Ling enjoys reading, cooking and travelling.
