Nicky joined BIS HCMC in August 2026 as a Mathematics teacher, bringing experience from international education in Bangkok as well as schools in the United Kingdom. A passion for mathematics has been a constant throughout his life, driven by the satisfaction of solving challenging problems and the excitement of those breakthrough "light bulb" moments when understanding suddenly clicks into place.
It is this enthusiasm for discovery and learning that inspired him to pursue a career in teaching. Nicky is committed to helping students develop both confidence and curiosity in mathematics, encouraging them to embrace challenges and experience the same sense of achievement that first sparked his own love of the subject.
Outside the classroom, Nicky enjoys playing chess, solving cryptic crosswords, gaming, and exploring the diverse culinary traditions and flavours of the world.
