BSc (Hons) Secondary Science with Education and QTS, Sheffield Hallam University, UK
Francesca joined BIS HCMC in August 2026 as Head of Biology. She is excited to return to Vietnam having previously worked in Hanoi for three years before working in Colombia and Nepal. Francesca thinks that Science teaches students important critical thinking skills and she encourages students to look at a range of evidence before drawing conclusions, something which she considers to be of vital importance in the current climate. Outside of the classroom Francesca is an avid reader and collector of vinyl. She enjoys keeping active through a range of activities such as crossfit, pickleball, and yoga. Although she can't say she enjoys running, having completed her first half marathon it is a new hobby she is persevering with."
