BA (Hons) Secondary Education with QTS: Music, NPQLBC
Jon joined BIS HCMC in August 2024 as Primary Music Teacher having taught music in the UK for eight years. Jon is originally from a small village in South Wales where he taught at two secondary schools over three years. He has spent the past five years living and teaching in London where he is Head of Music at an inner city secondary school.
As a musician, Jon has played in musical theatre productions across the UK, played for the royal family and in many well known venues up and down the country.
Outside of music, he enjoys reading, traveling, and staying active by running and cycling. Recently, he completed a solo cycling trip from London to Paris. Jon is passionate about food and loves exploring different cuisines from around the world.
