John joined BIS HCMC in August 2026 as a Primary Computing Teacher, having previously taught at diverse international schools across Colombia, the US, China, and the Dominican Republic. Driven by a deep belief in shifting from digital literacy to digital agency, John is passionate about empowering young learners to become ethical, creative technology innovators through hands-on design and meaningful projects. He frequently writes about his classroom experiences, sharing insights on how digital tools can support and elevate every student's journey. Outside the classroom, John is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys working out, traveling, and forging meaningful connections with people worldwide. Joining John on this exciting new chapter in Ho Chi Minh City are his wife, Natali, and their six-year-old son, John Jr."
