Lauren joined BIS HCMC in August 2025 as a primary teacher, having previously taught in primary schools in the UK. Growing up in the North West of England, she worked as a drama and singing teacher, discovering her passion for teaching. After years spent teaching the arts both at home and abroad, Lauren returned to university to complete her PGCE and pursue a career in primary education.

She loves seeing children grow into lifelong learners and discover new parts of the world and themselves. Outside the classroom, Lauren enjoys music—playing a few instruments—and reading historical fiction."
