Katie joined BIS HCMC in 2025. She began her teaching journey by studying Early Years and Childhood Studies before teaching in England. After travelling across Asia, she realised she particularly enjoyed life in Vietnam. She returned to London to complete her PGCE at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, before moving back to Vietnam, where she is now entering her fourth year of teaching.
Before joining BIS, Katie was a Year 2 class teacher and Maths Lead at another international school in Ho Chi Minh City. She believes in helping every child feel valued, confident, and supported to reach their full potential, and finds great joy in creating a safe, nurturing classroom where children are excited to learn and grow each day.
Outside the classroom, Katie enjoys running, spending time with friends, visiting new countries, and learning about different cultures.
