Laura Hogg joined BIS HCMC in August 2026 as a teacher of Computing. Before entering education, she worked in medical sales. Her interest in working with young people began in her early twenties through Camp America, where she discovered how much she enjoyed supporting and engaging with children. She later became a Cub Scout Leader, which further developed her interest in working with young people and ultimately led her to retrain as a teacher. After beginning her career as a teacher in Glasgow and developing her experience teaching Computing, she was excited to join BIS and return to international life in Ho Chi Minh City. Outside school, she enjoys practising yin yoga and Pilates, travelling (having visited over 30 countries), and is a big animal lover."
