Darragh Clancy

Masters of Education, Hibernia College, Ireland 

Darragh holds a Master of Education from Hibernia College, Ireland. He has been teaching since 2017, spending six years as a primary school teacher in Ireland—four years in mainstream education and two years supporting students with special educational needs. In July 2023, Darragh moved to Ho Chi Minh City, where he initially worked at another international school before joining BIS HCMC in August 2025 as a Year 5 Learning Support Teacher.

He is excited about this role as it allows him to support students’ individual learning needs while being part of a close-knit, collaborative community. Since relocating to Ho Chi Minh City, Darragh has travelled to destinations he never imagined visiting, completed several half marathons, and taken up pickleball—a sport he is quickly growing to love."
