Vienna 1908 locations

I stumbled across a few more locations for Vienna 1908 while looking up information about Amadeus. First is this shot, which drove me crazy for the longest time because I thought it was in Prague.

Then, while looking at Amadeus locations (below) I noticed a gate tower that looked very similar. There it was, in the small town of Kromeriz in the Czech Republic.

Then I discovered that directly on the other side of this gate, if you were to look to the southwest, you'd see:

The same angle we see as Indy runs toward the Archduke's castle.

Indy runs in front of Archbishop High School near the Great Square, with the Collegiate Church of Saint Maurice (St. Moritz) in the distance. The street that runs through the gate where the shot would be from is Na Kopecku.

The exterior shots of the Archduke's Palace were shot at Valtice Castle, but the interior scenes actually were shot at the Archbishop's Palace which Indy is running towards (but we never see) in Kromeriz. It was also used in Amadeus and Immortal Beloved.

Another establishing shot looks down Pilarova street toward the Church of St. John the Baptist.

I also noticed that the town square shot in this episode appears to not just be a shot of the Old Town Square in Prague, but a combination of that background and a foreground plate shot in the Great Square in Kromeriz. The giveaway is the square-shaped patterns in the stonework.
