Since I haven't had any discoveries on the "Young Indy" front in a while, I thought I'd tackle finding the locations in 1984's Amadeus. Though set in Vienna, the film was shot almost entirely in Prague. It even utilized many of the same locations seen in Young Indy, including Barrandov Studios.

This film follows the turbulent life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Tom Hulce), as seen from one of his peers Antonio Salieri (F. Murray Abraham). The film takes place in Vienna, Austria but was filmed almost entirely in Prague, Czech Republic.

In the opening of the film, we find Salieri in a mental hospital - actually the 18th-century Invalidovna in the Karlin area of Prague (thanks to Tine B.).

Mozart's house in the film was at Hradcany Square, Number 7 in Prague.

The Austrian Emperor's palace was filmed in the Archbishop's Palace or Gryspek Palace in Hradcany Square, Prague.

The wedding scene was filmed at St. Giles Church (Kostel Sv. Jilji) at Husova 8 in Prague.

The site of the outdoor concert Mozart gives for the emperor was the gardens at Wallenstein Palace in Prague.

The scenes of Schikaneder's wooden folk theater were on a huge set constructed at Barrandov Studios in Prague.

The Estates Theatre (or Tyl Theatre) in Prague was where the film crew famously shot the opera scenes of the film. This theatre is the last remaining one that Mozart actually performed in.

The ball at the beginning of the film was filmed inside Kromeriz Manor in Kromeriz, Czech Republic.

The sidewalk with arches that Salieri walks through was outside 13 Maltezske namesti in Prague.

The market scenes were filmed in Maltese Square (Maltezske namesti) in Prague.

The wig shop scene was filmed in the Danish Embassy in Prague.

The narrow alleyway that a drunken Mozart stumbles through was on Thunovska street in Prague.
