Jones home from 'Last Crusade' found!!!

Today's find is a most exciting one indeed, one that I have been trying to track down for AGES. Little did I know it was only a quick Google-search away. I am of course referring to Indy's Utah house in The Last Crusade, where we see him return home to Indiana and his father after his adventure on the circus train. The only clues I could find online were that it was filmed near Arches National Park in Utah.

Judging by the shot of Indy running across the tracks, it was evident the house was located on the outskirts of a small town. I searched the small towns along railroad tracks near Arches, but no luck there.

Well, it turns out this scene was shot nowhere near Arches, but instead in the small southern Colorado town called Antonito. This is where the Cumbres & Toltec Railway (used for the circus train scene) departs from. You can not imagine my excitement when I found out that not only was the house from the film still standing....

...but that it still looks identical to how it did in the film, and is being operated as a bed and breakfast!

I could not imagine better news for die-hard Indy fans everywhere. So if you find yourself checking out the Cumbres & Toltec train for a scenic ride through the same scenery in the film, this place would definitely be the place to stay!
