Princeton 1919 (Winds of Change)

First aired: unknown

Directed by: Michael Schultz

After the war, Indy heads back to his home in Princeton, NJ - which was again filmed in and around Wilmington, NC. Many of the establishing shots were re-used from other episodes.

This shot is a weird mixture of matte extensions to a shot of our friend locomotive CSD #524.1110, seen in many other episodes at this point.

A quick shot of him leaving France was shot at the Horsted-Keynes railroad station in Sussex, England (seen in earlier episodes).

This time the familiar-looking platform is disguised as "Le Havre."

This is the old Great Western #51 steam engine at the station for the Fillmore & Western Railway in Fillmore, CA. The shot (flipped horizontally) looks west from Mountain View Street between Main Street & Santa Clara Avenue. The steam engine has been used in numerous other productions over the years, including The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. about the same time period. Most recently, it was re-painted in 2003 for Seabiscuit. However, shortly after that film it moved into private hands and now resides in Hudson, Colorado

The dock scenes appear to have been filmed at the Wilmington State Docks south of downtown Wilmington (thanks to Craig). The ship and upper gang plank were added digitally.

The "Princeton Junction" train station seen as Indy arrives home appears to be a composite shot using one of the main buildings of the Main Post on Montgomery Street at the Presidio in San Francisco. In 2009, The Walt Disney Family Museum opened in one of these newly-renovated buildings.
