The orcs hail from the alien world of Draenor. While they did come in with violent intentions, they have since managed to throw off the chains of demon blood and now try to live a solid life within the lands of Durotar. Many hail from various clans across the orc’s history.
Age : Orcs mature a little faster than humans, reaching adulthood around age 14. They age noticeably faster and rarely live longer than 75 years.
Size : Orcs are between 6 and 7 feet tall and muscularly built, averaging around 300 pounds. Your size is Medium.
Speed : Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Languages : You can speak, read, and write Common and Orcish.
Ability Score Increase : Your Strength score increases by 1, and your Constitution score increases by 1.
Menacing : You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill.
Orcish Weapon Training : You have proficiency with the handaxe, battleaxe, and warclaw.
Relentless Endurance : When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You must then finish a long rest to use this feature again.
Clans : Orcs are taught different skills depending on their clan. Orcish clans are categorized into three: hunter clans, mystic clans, and warrior clans. Choose one of these clans and work with your DM to determine the significance of your chosen clan.
Some orc clans prefer a more stealth approach to things, hiding and waiting for the perfect time to ambush, such clans include The Shattered Hand, and Bleeding Hollow. Two large orc clans that go in for a much more stealthy approach to things.
Ability Score Increase : Your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Ambusher : You gain proficiency in the Stealth skill.
Surprise Attack : If you surprise a creature and hit it with an attack on your first turn in combat, the attack deals an extra 1d6 damage to it. The damage increases to 2d6 at 6th level, 3d6 at 11th level, and 4d6 at 16th level. You can use this trait only once per combat.
Not many orc clans go in for the use of magic, and those that do are usually more secretive than the rest. Generally less keen on working with other clans spend their time as a nomadic folk rather than settling in a certain area. Such clans include The Shadowmoon, and Stormreaver.
Ability Score Increase : Your choice of your Intelligence OR Wisdom score increases by 1.
Ancestral Call : You can cast the Augury spell once with this trait, requiring no material components, and you regain the ability to cast it this way when you finish a long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
Mystic Lore : You are proficient with one of the following skills of your choice: Arcane, History, Nature, or Religion.
Most known orc clans go for the brute forced approach, entering combat gladly with raised weapons, hammering down everything in their way. Some of the larger clans include Warsong, Burning Blade, and the Frostwolves.
Ability Score Increase : Your Strength score increases by 1.
Aggressive : As a bonus action, you can move up to your speed toward an enemy of your choice that you can see or hear. You must end this move closer to the enemy than you started.
Savage Attacks : When you score a critical hit with a melee weapon attack, you can roll one of the weapon's damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit.
