Warlocks that study affliction become masters of shadow-touched powers, unlike priests of the shadow priesthood, warlocks delight in the use of fel as a force to cause pain and leaving their enemies in whirls of torment.

2nd-level Study of Affliction feature
You gain the ability to corrupt and curse others. As a bonus action, choose one creature within 30 feet of you. The target is then cursed for 1 minute. Any effects that require a saving throw use your Warlock's spell save DC. The curse ends early if the target dies, you fall unconscious, or you become incapacitated.
Also, if a cursed target dies, you regain hit points equal to your warlock level + your Intelligence modifier (minimum 1). You can only use this feature once per short or long rest.
Choose one of the following;
Agony; At the beginning of its turn, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or suffer disadvantage on all attack rolls until the start of its next turn.
Exhaustion; At the beginning of its turn, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or have its speed become 0 and is unable to benefit from speed increased effects until the start of its next turn.
Fragility; At the beginning of its turn, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or it cannot regain hit points until the start of its next turn. In addition, any temporary hit points it has are removed.
Recklessness; At the beginning of its turn, the target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become reckless until the start of its next turn. While reckless, it adds a d4 to all attack rolls it makes, but all attack rolls against it add a d4 as well.
Tongues; At the beginning of its turn, the target must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw or upon casting a spell with casting time of 1 action, roll a d6. On a 5 or higher, the spell doesn't take effect until the creature's next turn, and the creature must use its action on that turn to complete the spell. If it can't, the spell is wasted. Lasts until the start of their next turn.
Weakness; At the beginning of its turn, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or they become weak to one damage type of your choosing until the start of their next turn. While weakened, immunity is treated as resistance, resistance is lost, and a creature with nether gains vulnerability.
Shadows; At the beginning of its turn, the target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become blind until the start of its next turn.
You cannot use this feature again until you finish a short rest.
6th-level Study of Affliction feature
Your demonic powers weaken enemies, making then susceptible to further corruption. Whenever you hit a creature with a warlock spell or cantrip, you may use your bonus action to make them suffer disadvantage on saving throws against your warlock spells until the end of your next turn.
You may use this ability a number of times equal to 2 + your Intelligence modifier. You regain all uses after a long rest.
10th-level Study of Affliction feature
You develop an unearthly knowledge of how to maintain focus on demonic effects. You may maintain concentration on two spells at once, provided they are both warlock spells. If you fail a concentration saving throw, you may choose which of the two spells end.
14th-level Study of Affliction feature
Your corrective powers have the potential to overwhelm your foes and spread amongst them. You gain an additional use of your Unstable Affliction feature. In addition, when the creature cursed by your Unstable Affliction dies, you can apply the curse to a different creature you can see within 30 feet of you with a renewed duration, provided you aren't incapacitated. When you apply the curse in this way, you don't regain hit points from the death of the previous creature.
18th-level Study of Affliction feature
You learn a curse of impending doom. As a bonus action, you place the curse on one creature you can see within 60 feet. At the end of each creature's turn, The target creature takes 1d4 psychic damage. This damage increases by 1 for each turn after the first.
After the target takes damage from this curse six times, or when the creature dies, the curse ends and a Doomguard appears within 5 feet of the cursed target, or the nearest available space.
The doomguard acts on the turn immediately after yours and obeys your commands (no action required) for 1 minute or until killed or dismissed as a bonus action, after which it disappears. Doomguards have their own starblocks on the Demonic Minions page.
