When you attune to this orb, you choose one weapon to attach the orb too. After one hour, the attunement is complete, and the orb begins to revolve around the weapon. The orb cannot be removed unless you choose to remove it as an action, the weapon is destroyed, or your attunement to this item ends.
Each orb imbues your weapon attacks with magical power. When you hit a creature with a weapon an orb is attached to, it does and additional 1d6 damage, with the type determined by the orb. Alternatively, you can make a ranged spell attack with the weapon, using your melee attack modifier. On a hit, it does 1d6 plus your melee ability modifier of the orb's damage type.
Corruption : This orb does acid damage, and a creature hit must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, or lose all resistances it has until the end of your next turn.
Darkness : This orb does necrotic damage, and when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with the weapon the orb is attached to, it is raised as a zombie under your control. A zombie raised this way last for 1 minute, and takes an orders you give it (no action required).
Fire : This orb does fire damage, and a creature hit must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, or be unable to regain hit points until the end of your next turn.
Frost : This orb does cold damage, and a creature hit must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw, or have their movement speed reduced by 10 feet until the end of your next turn.
Holy : The orb does radiant damage, and a creature hit must succeed on a DC 15 Charisma saving throw, or proceed to glow brightly with radiant energy for 1 minute, preventing them from hiding or becoming invisible. Also, if the creature is an Undead or Fiend-type, they take 1d6 radiant damage at the start of their turn for the duration of the effect.
Lightning : This orb does lightning damage, and on a critical hit, the creature is subjected to a Dispel Magic spell cast at 5th level.
Venom : This orb does poison damage, and a creature hit must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the end of your next turn.
