There are a wide variety of languages spoken by a variety of beings across the world of Azeroth and beyond. This page will cover all languages that are spoken and who speaks it.
All languages under here are commonly spoken by a variety of races, including the playable races on here. Anyone can freely pick up the languages that are on here.
Common is the language primarily associated with humans. Despite this, it is the common tongue that binds all the races together and allows them to communicate properly.
Darnassian is the language of the Night Elves, and have been spoken by them for eons. Darnassian is known to be fluid, with subtle intonations and intricate grammar. Its literature is rich and varied, and their songs and poems are famous among other races.
Draenec is the language of the Draenei survivors who left argus. It is a very complicated language to pick up on, on the sole basis that it has no similarities to an azerothian languages.
Dwarven is, as excpected, the language of the Dwarves, and often shared by their neighbors. Dwarven is full of hard consonants and guttural sounds, and those characteristics spill over into whatever other language a dwarf might speak.
Goblin is the language of the goblins NO SHIT!, though some use it when dealing with any of the goblin cartels. Likewise, goblins will often pick up the languages of races and cultures they often trade with.
Gnomish is the language often spoken by the gnomish people. Gnomish in many ways look like dwarven, it uses the same script, and is renowned for its technical treatises and its catalogs of knowledge about the natural world.
Gutterspeak is the language associated with the undead, and is the primary language of the forsaken. Gutterspeak is a lower form of Common used by shady underground markets and rogues' guilds as a tongue of ill-repute.
Orcish is the language of the orcs, as it is pointed out in the name. Orcish is a harsh, grating language with hard consonants. It has no script of its own but is written in a mix of dwarven runes and common.
Taur-ahe is the language to the tauren and their cousins. Taur-ahe is a harsh, and low sounding language, without a proper alphabet, their written language is made of elaborate pictograms and pictoforms.
Thalassian is the language spoken by the high elves, which is partially derived from Darnassian. Though an untrained ear might hear both languages and assume their the same, their are many differentiation between the two.
Zandali is the language of the trolls, and how they descended from the Zandalari. All trolls, regardless of tribe, know this language, but allies of the different troll tribes may also know this language.

Celestial is the language often associated with light-based beings.
Draconic is the language spoken by the dragons and the dragonkin that serve them.
Eredun is the language that most, if not all, demons speak. Many who serve the demons, or use the demon's power in passing, will also speak this language.
Kalimag is the language of the elements and the elementals. Shaman use this language in order to properly communicate with them.
Low Common is a lesser form of Common, and is often spoken by other, less intelligent races, such as gnolls.
Nazja is the language that the snake-like race, the naga, speak. It seems very specific to them, though some words match with words related to the old golds.
Nerglish is the language of the murlocs. Very little is known about this language, as murlocs seldom trust outsiders, and what can be inferred from the murlocs in minimal.
Ogral is the language of the Ogres, as well as the prediscesors of the ogres. There is a special script related to them, but due to years of brain drain, this script has lost it's luster.
Ravenspeech is the language spoken by arakkoa, the bird-like race native to Draenor, now known as outland. It often seems to be a very different dialect from Orcish and Orgal.
Shath'Yar is the language of the Old Gods and the minions who worship them. This language dates back to the Black Empire and typically only those aligned with the void can truely read it. Some methods can be used to read them, such as a gift from an old god, or eating what's known as a violet truffle.
Titanic is the language of the titans and the underlings closest to them. Many titan facilities across Azeroth are written within this language, and many creatures still loyal to the titans speak this language as well.
Ursine is the language of the furbolgs. The script for this language is primarily made of sigils and scratches, rather then actual letters.
These languages are secretive and only those who are in the know may have access to them.
Druidic is the secret language of druids, and are often only spoken by those practice the druidic arts. Often this language is taught to druids as a way to keep secrecy up and make communications easier.
Thieves' Cant is a language for thugs, brigands and all others outside of the law. Often spoken my rouges in order to gather information, trade within black markets, and so on.
