Apollo was a powerful mage who was a student within the city-state of Dalaran. However, when the city was destroyed, he would scatter and find his own place. In his journeys, he's been around Azeroth in various areas, meeting many interesting individuals. He would soon be hired on by Gazlowe as the guildmaster for an adventurer's guild that Gazlowe official owns and finances, but Apollo official heads. This guild, known as the Collective, has proven to be an asset not just to Gazlowe, but to Azeroth as a whole.

Dar'Khan Drathir was once a high elf magister who served alongside the priestess Liadrin and Lor'Themar. However, due to never feeling as though he was properly compensated for his efforts in defending Quel'Thalas, and after never receiving the title of "Grand Magister of Quel'Thalas", he became power hungry. Thus, he betrayed his people, his country, to the death knight Arthas. However, he would attempt to backstab Arthas after he had claimed the Sunwell to resurrect the lich Kel'Thuzad. He was then killed and raised as a member of the scourge, and now serves as a loyal, but still sentient, servant of the Lich King.

Lord Kazzak, also known as Doom Lord Kazzak, is a demon that emerged along with the rest of the legion after Kel'Thuzad summoned Archimonde into Azeroth. He would aid in the legion's assault during their second invasion, but after Archimonde's death at Mount Hyjal, Kazzak would remain in the Tainted Scar, west from the Blasted Lands.

After the defeat of the dreadlord, Zmodlor, he would managed to gain the power to reactivate the Dark Portal, after it sat dormant for 20 years, and now resides at the Throne of Kil'Jaden. Adventures fighting him should be wary, as he wields the mighty Warblade of Archimonde, a powerful sword of fel energies.

Lor'Themar was once a leader of the Rangers of Silvermoon, seconded only be Sylvanas Windrunner. However, after the destruction of Silvermoon during the third war. Thus, all of the blood elves would then take off and would go over; almost being executed by Lord Garithos, being rescued by Lady Vashj to outland, and aiding Kael'thas and his new master, Illidan, take over the Hellfire Citadel and crown Illidan as the new Lord of Outland.

However, as Kael'Thas was ready to take his forces to Northrend and attempt to destroy the Frozen Throne, Lor'Themar would take some of his forces and work to reclaim Quel'Thalas. Though, it was a hard effort, they would managed to beat back the scourge, alongside other threats such as the mana-addicted Wretched or the Amani Trolls, he was able to reclaim Silvermoon City, and a large chunk of Quel'Thalas. Though, some thanks goes to Sylvanas and her forsaken, as they assisted in reclaiming much of Quel'Thalas from the dead.

Monte Gazlowe is a high-ranking member of the Steamweedle Cartle, the leader of the town of Rachet, as well as the owner and financer of the guild known as The Collective. He has a solid friendship with the warchief of the horde, Thrall, but doesn't allow that friendship to be a deciding factor in his decisions, especially in terms of profits.
