While most druids stay within the circles of druidism Cenarius has approved of and focused on, you have found a strange beauty in the decay of life and how mushrooms would grow and consume the flesh of the deceased. You have found that death is just one part of life, and that fungus are just as alive as any animal or plant.
Druid Level - Spells
3rd - Blindness/Deafness, Gentle Repose
5th - Animate Dead, Toxic Breath
When you choose this specialization at 3rd level, you learn the Hand of Decay cantrip.
Also at 3rd level, you become enveloped with spores that float around you. These spores are harmless until you use your druidic magic to activate them. When a creature of your choice moves into a space within 10 feet of you, or starts their turn within that space, you may use your reaction to make that creature roll a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature takes 1d6 necrotic damage.
The necrotic damage from this class feature is increased by a d6 at 6th level (2d6), 10th level (3d6), and 14th level (4d6).
At 6th level, you can use Spirit Shape to adopt the form of a powerful Spirit of Spores. Transforming into this form does not count against the uses of your Spirit Shape feature.
At 10th level, you've learned to fling your spores. You can choose an area within 20 feet of you, or 50 feet if your within your Spirit of Spores form. The spores you send out will fill up a 10-foot cube for 1 Minute. The spores will disappear early if you use this feature again or if you dismiss them as a bonus action.
Whenever a creature moves into the cube, or starts it's turn within it, that creature is treated as being affected by your Presence of Spores feature and must make the Constitution saving throw or take the damage. A creature cannot be damaged by this feature more then once per turn.
While the cube persists, you cannot use your Presence of Spores reaction.
At 14th level, the fungal spores in your body alter you: you can't be blinded, deafened, frightened, or poisoned, and any critical hit against you counts as a normal hit instead, unless you're incapacitated.
