Dorso- ventrally flattened body, triangular head.

Ventral side of the neck is characterized by ‘gular pouch.

Adaptations

Concealing or protective colouration is helpful for camouflage.

Lateral wing like expansion of the skin called ‘Patagia’ for gliding movement.

Three soft cervical spines for hooking on to tree branches.

Long and slender digits with recurved claws for climbing.
