• Body is flat, broad and brownish and covered by leathery exoskeleton.
• Body is divided into Head, thorax and Abdomen.
• Eyes are prominent.
• Thorax has three pairs of legs and two pairs of wings.
• Wings are well developed.
• Between the bases of wings is a triangular shield, called Scutellum.
• Female possess well developed Ovipositor.
