Rhacophorus is commonly known as ‘Tree frog’ or ‘flying frog’.

Arboreal anuran.

Body long and slender, specialized for climbing and gliding.

All digits are webbed for parachuting and gliding.

Rhacophorus have adhesive pads or discs for attachment.

Rhacophorus have powers for rapid adaptive colour change.

It is crepuscular in habitat (active in dim light – hours of down and dusk).

Fertilization is external.
