• The oral sucker and ventral sucker (acetabulum) serves as adhesive organ for attachment to host.
• Highly complex life cycle with 5 larval stages namely – Miracidium, Sporocyst, Redia, Cercaria and Metacercaria.
• Exhibit polyembryoni.
