If you open the app store from your applications folder and search for ‘Remote Desktop’ the program you want to choose is ‘Microsoft Remote Desktop’
Once downloaded you will find the program in your application folder, open the program and you will be presented with the below windows; at this stage click ‘New’.
A new window will appear and you will have to fill in the details of the connection you want to connect to.
Connection Name – This can be anything you want, a meaningful name to you to represent the connection, for example – schuh Remote Desktop. You must name this or it won’t show under ‘My Desktop’.
PC Name –Livi2.schuh.co.uk
Username – Same Username to log into PC at your desk
Password – Same password to log into PC at your desk (this can be left blank and will be requested each time you connect)
The other fields can be left as default and just close the windows and the settings will save as a new connection.
Once you’re back at the main windows you will see the connection you created, double click on the connection and this will start the connection.

Logging Into Remote Desktop
In the ‘Computer Name’ box, type: Livi2.Schuh.co.uk (not case sensitive), then click, ‘Connect’.
You will come to a welcome screen where it will prompt for the following details
Username – Same Username to log into PC at your desk
Password – Same password to log into PC at your desk (this can be left blank and will be requested each time you connect)
Log on to: Always make sure this says SCHUH
Passcode: One of the 6 digit codes sent to you via SMS
'SecurEnvoy' sends a text to your registered mobile with 3 codes in advance of needing them (this is just in case you go in to a non-signal area). Each time you use 1 of the codes, you will receive a 'replacement' text with 3 unused codes. Each code can only be used once.
(Don’t worry if you delete this text accidently, it will send you a new text when you try to connect by entering just your Username and Password).
(Please Note: If your Mobile Phone becomes Lost or Stolen, or you change your mobile number, please email ITHelpdesk immediately and the system can be updated).
Should you have any issues, please email ITHelpdesk@Schuh.co.uk.
