Using the ’Giftcard Admin’ tab on COA3 you can process all awaiting giftcards. The order must be in status 1 for the order to process.
Once you’ve entered a new, valid giftcard number and assigned the giftcard, a letter will print along with a FedEx label to send the item if it's a UK order or an address label if it's and ROI order.
Put the giftcard inside a green envelope.
Put the green envelope and letter inside an A5 brown envelope.
Put the FedEx label or ROI address label on the envelope.
If a customer has ordered more than one giftcard, you must process the 203-1 item first.
Once this giftcard has been assigned for the first item, the assign giftcard box will pop up again for the 203-2 item and so on until all giftcards on the order have been assigned.
Only 1 FedEx label or address label will print, so put all giftcards in individual green envelopes and then put them all in the one A5 envelope.
Take all giftcards being despatched with FedEx to the Mail Room by 2.00pm and any being sent to ROI to Reception to be sent Royal Mail.
If the giftcard has been created as part of a refund, cancel the line and add a digital giftcard line to be emailed to the customer instead.
The code for a UK giftcard is 994001 and for an IE giftcard is 994002, select a digital design from the size drop down (codes starting with 3). Tick the 'Manual Price Override' box and enter in the value to be added to the giftcard and add line. Move the order into status 1.
