Obtaining Proof of Delivery
FedEx parcels require an ‘indirect signature’ on delivery. This means the parcel MUST be signed for but does not need to be signed for by the addressee i.e. the parcel can be left with a neighbour. You can view the signature obtained on the tracking page with the account number for the despatch location.
Click on ‘Obtain proof of delivery’
Enter in the account number for the despatch location which can be found in the ‘Store Account Numbers’ document in the Knowledge Base. Click ‘View PDF’.
You can then see the signature obtained when the parcel was delivered. You can also see the address the parcel was delivered to which may show which neighbour the driver left the parcel with.
