What is Mention Me?
Mention Me is a refer-a-friend program to encourage more customers to tell their friends about us. Customers will be able to tell their friends to come to our site and just enter their name. When a friend enters the referrer’s name they’re given a discount towards their first purchase. As soon as their friend purchases, the referrer will also get a reward.
What discount are we offering?
At the moment Mention Me are offering different incentives;
15% off with no minimum spend
£7.50 off orders over £50
15% off orders over £50
What will the referrer see?
A pop up will appear on the confirmation page of the checkout.
If the referrer clicks on the discount button they will be given the option to share the link via social, entering their friend’s email address directly or by simply telling the referee in person. The referrer must click the “Let me share using my name” to activate the offer if they choose the “Tell them in person” option.
If there is another person with the same name as the referrer, the referee will be asked to provide the referrer’s email address when redeeming the discount.
How does the referred customer get their discount?
When the referred customer is placing an order they can click on the “Been referred by a friend?” link which sits just above the giftcard link. The customer will then be given the opportunity to enter the name of the person that referred them. When the referee has confirmed their friends name and Mention Me have validated it from their end, the customer will be given their discount code to use.

Referrer Rewards
The referrer is offered 15% off for each friend who orders online only for the first time.
This offer can be shared for 6 months from the date of acceptance by the referrer.
In order for the referral to qualify for the reward the referred friend must be a new customer to schuh and over the age of 18 and the referred friend must meet the conditions of their reward.
There is no requirement for the referrer to be an existing schuh customer.
In order to share this offer the referrer must be over the age of 18.
Rewards will be cumulative and so if multiple qualifying referrals are made to schuh, multiple rewards will be delivered to the referrer, subject to a limit A Referrer may not earn more than 5 within any 24 hour period or 25 within last 12 months or 1500 GBP of reward value within last 12 months. A Referrer should not expect their referred friends to be given rewards automatically if they are referring more frequently than 10 friends within any 24 hour period.
Rewards will be delivered to the referrer on the day of the referred friend's purchase provided the referred friend's purchase is not cancelled.
The Referrer will be notified by email once a referred friend has purchased and when the reward has been earned.
Rewards will be valid for 3 months from the date earned by the referrer.
Referral rewards cannot be combined with other discount codes in a single order.

Referred Friend Rewards
The Referred friend is offered 15% off when they place their first order.. The reward is valid for 7 days from the point of issue to the referred friend.
In order to qualify for the reward the referred friend must be a new customer to schuh and over the age of 18.
Any rewards will be revoked if a refund is requested on the order for which the reward was offered.
The Referred friend reward cannot be claimed by the same person making the referral
