Hello everyone,
We hope this finds you already enjoying a relaxing summer. We want to thank all of you for your amazing work during the last week of school. While it was a whirlwind, you all gave the students a truly memorable end of the school year and it was a pleasure to watch you in action. We will be leaving you alone for a while now. Look for the next KJHS Staff Connection to be published in the beginning of July. Enjoy your summer!

Below is a chart of the back to school letters & Back to School Bash presentations that have been shared with me. Please share the missing documents as soon as you can. I apologize if I overlooked something in the chaos that was May. If for some reason, your team or department does not want a letter sent out when team assignments are made, please let me know.

Feedback on 22-23 School Year
Please take the time to complete two feedback surveys regarding the 22-23 school year. The first is the KJHS Administration Feedback Survey. This one is designed to be anonymous if you so desire and asked for feedback specifically on the KJHS Administrative Team. The second survey is for the KJHS leadership teams (BLT, PBIS, Social Committee, etc.). The KJHS School Culture Feedback Survey will help guide decisions being made this summer for the upcoming 23-24 school year.

As we are looking at increased class sizes at some grade levels, we need to inventory room seating numbers so we can make sure rooms are adequately equipped in August. Please complete the necessary information on the 23-24 Room Needs sheet for your current classroom before leaving for summer break.

The KJHS Main Office summer hours are 9:00 am - 3:00 pm from now until July 31, 2023. Please note that the KJHS Main Office will be closed from 6/16/23 - 6/23/23 for cleaning.

Please note that all classrooms south of the office (with a few exceptions) are in use from now through 6/30/23 for summer school. In addition, many classrooms in the north end of the building are currently being cleaned. We will send an update in the July KJ Staff Connection regarding building access.
