WEATHER & COLLEAGUIAL CONSIDERATION
When the weather gets nice, staff understandably loves to take students outside. A couple things to consider.
There are classrooms by the bus lane. Please be thoughtful of teachers with those classrooms & keep students off the bus lane sidewalks & bus lane. There is a grassy area across from the bus lane that will not interfere with learning of other students.
PE teaches outside. If you want to use any indoor or outdoor spaces other than your assigned classroom, complete the building use form. This form is also located in our Kingsley Google Classroom.
The April Kingsley Connection was email to families & posted in their IC window on 4.12.22.

Each assessment is designed to take 20-30 minutes. Lindsay O'Brien, our FastBridge/Illuminate coach is here to help. Please reach out to her with questions to prepare for testing. Helpful Info:
Illuminate Cheat Sheet: Basics about giving the assessment & accessing FastBridge features. It's advisable to review it & have it available during testing. If you print it, there are multiple links to print too.
aReading & aMath Tips & Troubleshooting: Covers things proctors and students could run into during testing. Print prior or have accessible during testing.
FAQ document: Coaches submitted your questions from Institute & the questions have been answered here.
Students need headphones as test items and the instructions are read to them.
You will not need to sit by your device to monitor a dashboard to resume a test or see who is speeding through. The only way you'll be able to encourage students to slow down is by walking around and monitoring.
If a student takes the test too quickly (aka random guessing), their results will show invalid after they finish; they will be scheduled to retake the test. Please share this information with students.
Please complete this Advisory survey from Dan Lamboley. The feedback will be used to inform planning for Advisory during 22-23.
