It has been communicated to families multiple times that their students will be between 2-5 feet from one another when we transition to 4 days per week. Please do not pressure yourself to do the impossible.
If you need furniture moved, our custodians are happy to do it for you. Please let them know ASAP.
For most of our careers, we've had class sizes of 28 or more. Yes, having more students will be an adjustment and we are capable & ready.
When we return, please update the "desks less than 6 feet" list. This list will be longer than before which means if we have a positive Covid case, more students will be quarantined. This has been communicated to families; contact tracers use this to begin their process.

Give Kim and Michel a high five when you see them as they are going to conduct all ISA & IAR testing for remote students who choose to come into the building to test. ISBE does not allow any remote testing so some families may choose not to test with absolutely not penalty.
Family communication (here) is being sent to remote families today to provide time to consider whether they want students to participate or not.

Staff Symptoms & Guidance (updated March 2021) Staff who are fully vaccinated (a minimum of 14 days AFTER the 2nd/last vaccine in the series) can be exempt from quarantine if a family member has symptoms, as long as they do not have any symptoms. Staff can report to work as long as they provide a copy of their vaccination card to you for verification.
Staff Covid Reporting Form: Staff who are exposed to a positive case and would be considered a close contact should still fill out the staff reporting form even if fully vaccinated (a minimum of 14 days AFTER the 2nd/last vaccine in the series) so the monitoring team can determine if quarantine is necessary based on the criteria.
