Two, treasured Kingsley staff members are transitioning into their final quarter as full-time teachers. When you see them around the building these next few months, please help them feel special as they prepare for a big transition.

I appreciate all the thought you are putting into the supply lists for 21-22. Please email me this week when your draft is complete. I will compile the entire building at that time and share it back out.

The Biden Administration has not waived federally mandated testing requirements despite Illinois and other state superindents urging them to do so. Therefore, at this time (oh the phrase of 2020 & 2021), timelines & overall information is below. As in the past, I anticipate that we'll need every staff member to come together to either proctor, supervise &/or sacrifice classroom time to complete this federal mandate.

• Illinois Assessment for Readiness (IAR)

  • Testing window: April 12-30, A building schedule will be created & shared. We will not wait until the very end of the window as all make-ups must be completed by 4.30.21.

  • Proctor training will be provide after Spring Break.

  • LBS1s, SLP, SW, Psych, OT & PT - Accomodations are being uploaded from Embrace to PAN. More will be shared when that is complete.

• Illinois Science Assessment (ISA)

  • Send good vibes to Todd & Amanda as this is additional testing for them.

  • Testing Window: March 29-April 9.

  • Same platform as in the past

  • 3 required sessions
