What exactly did the letter about snow days being e-learning days mean?

• Remote work day for staff

• Office hour guidance:

  • At a minimum, staff checks email & replies to students during office hours.

  • Can you be available to students through a video conference instead? Yes

• Synchronous instruction:

  • We will follow our current Wednesday timeline except all students are synchronous.

• What schedule will be shared with families?

• Students in the Black Student Union & Not In Our School are planning to create slides to be incorporated into the slides that are shown in the cafeteria and linked to our website. Our before-school music will showcase talented Black artists. #studentleadership

There are two ways you'll have access to this information.

1. If you have a student, you will get an email from the nurse with student initials.

2. In Infinite Campus attendance area, the hybrid student could be coded as "Remote Learner/RL." This code does not count them as absent. If a hybrid student is in covid protocol, they will access learning materials synchronously if you've invited students to synch in or asynchronously; therefore, hybrid students in covid protocol are counted as present.
