Welcome to John Ahlemeyer, as the KJ/PJ Family Coordinator! John brings years of education experiences & a strong desire to serve. If you'd like to send John a quick hello, do so at ahlemej@unit5.org
If you send a student into the hall, please do so with a pass.
A pass at the beginning of the hour.
A pass during the hour.
A pass at the end of the hour.
A pass, a pass, a pass.
Which kind of pass? We aren't picky....but A PASS. (Yes, I'm feeling Seussical.)

Thank you to 6th grade Teachers who created a "Countdown to Winter Break" for Kingsley!
If a student loses their adapter & requests a replacement, a $45 fee will be charged to the RevTrack account of the family. This has been communicated to families.
Staff guidance & the e-learning schedule for MS was shared when the weather was beautiful. Now that it's getting colder I wanted to reshare.
The family guidance has been shared by the district & in the Kingsley Connection.
When Nurse O'Brien knows of a confirmed positive case, we print the student's schedule & an administrator accesses the seating chart for each class using the seating chart master.
An administrator then visits each area to evaluate & measure the area around where the positive case has occurred to develop a tentative list of close contacts.
We then look at attendance records for all potential close contacts to confirm they were in attendance on the dates of concern. Next we phone all families, print required documentation & directions for them, and greet stressed families as they arrive, helping them process the timelines, make up work routines, and safety considerations.
Sometimes this takes at least an hour or more for each case....all the while our typical ups & downs of the school day occur.
Your accurate & updated seating charts are super helpful. Thank you for taking those extra steps! We appreciate your patience Please know that we so appreciate your patience & understanding while the office juggles these tasks.
