Grant Puchased Supplies

Good news! Grant purchased items will start trickling in the next few weeks. We will deliver them to you as they arrive.

All items purchased with grant funds are considered district property. If you transition to a different department, etc., please leave all grant purchased items in your classroom & notify your building chair of their location.

NIOS & Kindness Week

Show all students that their leadership matters by joining in NIOS Kindness Week Spirit Week. Us acting on NIOS students leadership models to students that their voice is important to us.

Grab a positive post-it if you need a lift! Consider adding a kindness quotes on your board or go wild and add them to your desks with an expo marker....we're cleaning them all them time, right?!

Parking

First, if you know anything about the psychology of parking, I want to listen! Otherwise said....if you know why do people get "red" or "blue" when you talk about "their parking spot" I gotta hear it.

Please, please avoid parking along the back of the school - in the fire lane & in the back. If we ever need emergency vehicles to get back there, you'll be glad you parked elsewhere.

What about Vaccine Side effects & Self Certification?

From Dayna Brown's email on 2.9:

"COVID VACCINE SIDE EFFECTS INCLUDE:

*Chills, headache, myalgia (muscle pain), arthralgia (joint pain) and fatigue, fever.
**If the symptoms above continue into Day 3 (Day 1 is the day of vaccination), you should seek a COVID test and/or a clinical evaluation. Refer to the Symptom Guidance for returning to work.

SIDE EFFECTS THAT ARE UNLIKELY TO BE THE RESULT OF THE VACCINE ARE:

*Cough, shortness of breath, nasal mucous, loss of taste/smell.
**IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THESE SYMPTOMS LISTED ABOVE (that are unlikely to be the result of the vaccine), OR a fever in excess of 100.4, you should NOT report to work and follow the Symptom protocol."

Need Sub Coverage for Vaccination? Complete this Google Form ASAP. No AESOP entry required; more info at the top of the Google Form.

- Complete waiver by 2 p.m. the day of test
- Bring insurance card
- Wednesdays @ the KJHS North lobby from 3-5
