In IC, try the following steps to use "Score Copier" to transfer their grades to your gradebook.
Go to your gradebook.
Go to the class hour of your new student.
Click on blue settings button.
Click on Score Copier.
It should populate any new students to this hour.
Choose the student whose grades you would like to transfer.
"Align Scores" - It should list the previous school's assignments, and you would choose which assignments align with your assignments.

The following information is from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy:
"Summer@IMSA" is coming back to Bloomington-Normal! After our first successful summer in 2019, we were halted by COVID but we are now ready to be back and offer our students STEM summer programming!
We are looking for teachers to provide this programming to students in our area. Curriculum and training is provided by IMSA. Teachers are expected to teach 4 lessons a day over the course of a 5 day summer day camp. All materials will be provided for each lesson and staff and student volunteers will be on hand for assistance in your classroom. Camps will run at Normal Community High School the week of June 20th.
For more information and to apply please see the link here. If you have any further questions, feel free to direct them to myself, Brittany, at herzovib@unit5.org
The following opportunity was sent to me by Michelle Lamboley, Assistant Superintendent:
My name is Dominique Starling, and I am a graduate student in the Specialist in School Psychology program at Eastern Illinois University. Your school district has been recognized for successfully implementing PBIS, congratulations! I am again reaching out to ask for your help to collect information about PBIS and PBIS implementation in schools from your staff! The input of your staff will advance knowledge about the benefits of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
The study is designed to understand the usefulness of PBIS in schools. All school staff members (such as administrators, teachers, support licensed professionals, support staff, and so on) are invited to complete the online survey and their responses will remain anonymous, no identifying information will be collected. Below is the link to the survey if you would like to forward it to your staff!
Survey Link: https://eiu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5jTpvFNa6kBnJ3g
Finally, staff who complete the survey will be entered in a drawing to possibly win a $25 Amazon Gift Card. A total of four participants will win a gift card.
I look forward to hearing from you. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me, Dominique, at dmstarling@eiu.edu; my thesis supervisor, Dr. Assege HaileMariam at ahailemariam@eiu.edu, or the EIU Institutional Review Board that has approved the study (eiuirb@eiu.edu).
When Nurse O'Brien knows of a confirmed positive case, we print the student's schedule & an administrator accesses the seating chart for each class using the seating chart master.
An administrator then visits each area to evaluate & measure the area around where the positive case has occurred to develop a tentative list of close contacts.
We then look at attendance records for all potential close contacts to confirm they were in attendance on the dates of concern. The nurse considers students who are vaccinated. Next we phone all families, print required documentation & directions for them, and greet stressed families as they arrive, helping them process the timelines, make up work routines, and safety considerations.
Sometimes this takes at least an hour or more for each case....all the while our typical ups & downs of the school day occur.
Your accurate & updated seating charts are super helpful. Thank you for taking those extra steps! We appreciate your patience Please know that we so appreciate your patience & understanding while the office juggles these tasks.
