The winter STAR testing session is December 2 - 6. Please indicate on the STAR sign up sheet when your team will be doing these screening assessments.

Get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping and support the KJHS PTO at the same time by shopping at Fannie Mae from 11 am to 4 pm on Saturday, November 30th. Show them this flyer and 30% of your purchase goes to the KJHS PTO.

11:45 am : Student Release

11:45  - 12:45 pm: Lunch (Friendsgiving in MSR begins at 12:00 pm)

12:45 - 1:15 pm: Mandated Training Time

1:15 - 1:45 pm: Team Kingsley Meeting

1:45 - 2:15 pm : e-Learning Prep Time

2:15 - 3:45 pm: PLC Time

The Q3 Data Day is Monday, December 16. Here are the blank Discussion Lists and Schedule. Please have your team complete your list of students to discuss by Wednesday, December 11.

Field Day 2025 will be the last day of student attendance, which is an early release day. That date is currently May 21st. Please remember that this date will change if any emergency dates are used by the district. A schedule for that day will be released later in the school year. Thanks to all of you who provided feedback to the PBIS Celebrations committee!

Here are this week's instructional technology tips. 

Unless the student is on a behavior contract or plan that dictates to do so, please do not send students to the office for non-disruptive behavior. For example, if a student is 15 minutes late to class, simply write an "out of area" referral. The office will take are of it in a timely manner. 

If you are writing a referral to document an issue you or your team is addressing, please submit it as a minor referral. Major referrals should only be used for issues that the administrative team needs to address. 

Thanks to Drake Orthodontics, we have new chairs in Main Street Retreat! We'll be working on getting new tables in that space as well.
