Reset, Refocus, Recommit
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we begin the third trimester, I want to encourage our students to reset, refocus, and recommit to positive learning habits. A new trimester is a great opportunity for a fresh start to set new goals, improve organization, or strengthen study habits.
Here are a few ways we can work together to ensure a strong start:
Encourage Consistent Study Habits- Set aside dedicated time for homework and review so students stay on top of their work.
Stay Organized- Use planners, checklists, or iPads can help students track their assignments and due dates.
Ask for Help When Needed- Remind students that teachers are here to help.
Maintain a Growth Mindset- Mistakes are part of learning. Encourage resilience and persistence.
Build Healthy Routines- A good night’s sleep, balanced meals, and time for physical activity all contribute to better focus and learning.
We appreciate your support in reinforcing these habits at home. Together, we can help students make the most of this new trimester and continue to grow academically and personally.
Stay safe and warm,
Denise Chancellor
