Saint Gabriel School Weekly Newsletter for Parents
Saint Gabriel School Weekly Newsletter for Parents
Winter MAP testing continues next week. The schedule has been adjusted due to the snow days. Please make an extra effort to ensure your child arrives on time, eats breakfast, and has a snack on testing days. While MAP is only one snapshot of how your child is doing, it does provide valuable data to help teachers plan instruction to meet your child's learning needs.
As we celebrate Catholic Schools Week and Super Bowl LVIX, students are invited to bring in hearty canned soup to donate to Fern Creek United Ministries food pantry. Collection will be January 27- February 10. Let's show our community how much we care!

Catholic Schools Week Thank Yous!
Our school is more than just a building; it is a thriving community made up of many individuals whose contributions create a space where learning and growth can take place. Today, we recognize those who play a role in making our school a great place to be.
First, we love our students. Students are the heart of our school. Your engagement in academic work, extracurricular activities, and school spirit helps build a positive school culture.
We love our church and parishioners. Without you, our school would not exist. Your prayers, support, and generosity extend far beyond the walls of the church. Your involvement reminds us of the greater mission we serve and provides us with the resources and encouragement to carry it out.
We love our parents and families. Parents and families are the first teacher of our students and crucial partners in a student’s education. Your involvement in school events, communication with teachers, and support at home, create a positive impact on student learning.
We love our school office, parish office, and support staff- administrative assistants, custodians, maintenance staff, cafeteria staff, and bus drivers. You often work behind the scenes to keep us fed, safe, healthy, and welcoming to everyone.
We love our Administration and staff-Mrs. Krill, Mrs. Schulz, Father Jason, Admin Team, and school board members. You play a huge role in shaping the school’s policies, culture, and day-to-day operations. You ensure that everything runs smoothly and make key decisions that support students, teachers, and staff.
We love our teachers and assistants. You not only impart knowledge but also mentor, support, and inspire students to be their best. You shape the school environment through your passion for education and commitment to student success.
We love our volunteers, alumni, and community partners. You contribute your time, resources and support to help enrich our school community.
Together, each of you contributes to the strength and success of our school. Thank you for all you do to make St. Gabriel a truly great place to learn and grow.
