The month of May is a time when we honor and remember the Mother of Our Church, Mary. On Wednesday, May 7th at 8:15 am, we will be having a Mary Crowning Service in the Church! Parents and family are welcome to attend. Second graders will be leading this service, and a few of our eighth-grade students have volunteered to help the second graders lead us in the Rosary. All students (K-8) will need to bring 1 long stemmed flower to school on May 7. We will use these to place around Mary. One student from each homeroom will process in with a vase of flowers from that homeroom to adorn Mary. Please bring these flowers in on the morning of May 7, and have the students take then to their homeroom teacher.
Students are encouraged to bring their own rosaries from home the day of our crowning. If your child does not have one, their teacher will provide one the day of the service.
Our Bells and Guitar elective classes would like to show off all their hard work! Join us for this special concert on Thursday, May 8 at 9:15 a.m. (following mass) in the church.

It’s the time of year where we like to celebrate and show our appreciation for our St. Gabriel teachers and staff every day for a week! We need lots of help to make it all happen— please consider signing up to help out.
Each year, we ask each preschool and school family to sell raffle tickets prior to the event. The raffle makes up 50% of the profit for the event. Our goal is to sell at least 4000 tickets - $40,000 - this year, and to make over $60,000 in total from the event. Your support is critical.
The proceeds from the festival have been used for projects that improve the school and preschool buildings for the last 12 years. This year, we will use the proceeds to complete our school epoxy floors, distribute emergency safety kits to each classroom and upgrade our playpark.
Please return all your sold and unsold tickets by Friday, May 16th. Place your tickets and money in a sealed marked envelope with your child’s name, grade and homeroom teacher. If you have more than one child participating, please put all the student names, grades and homerooms. If you’d like additional chances, email festival@stgabriel.net or let the preschool administration know. We will get a packet to you within 48 hours.
