Saint Gabriel School Weekly Newsletter for Parents
Saint Gabriel School Weekly Newsletter for Parents
Dear Parents/ Guardians,
Next week we will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week. This is an annual tradition that began in 1974 where Catholic Schools across the nation commemorate Catholic Schools Week with celebrations, masses, open houses, and activities for students, families, teachers, assistants, parishioners, and all staff. During this week we celebrate all the people who come together to make St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic School the best it can be. It certainly does take a village of parents, teachers, assistants, office staff, kids, cafeteria staff, parish staff, maintenance, technology staff, and our parish community to make our school year successful! We are fortunate to be part of a community dedicated and committed to leading our students on their sacred journey. CSW is a wonderful opportunity to showcase and celebrate the rich traditions and incredible value of Catholic Education. We celebrate and thank you all for your hard work and dedication to Catholic schools, especially, St. Gabriel!
I have a long history of Catholic education here at St. Gabriel in the last 40 years as an alumni, teacher, administrator, and parishioner. It makes me so proud to be part of this wonderful community and I feel so blessed to be so compassionate about nurturing our students to feel safe, welcome, and supported! Many of you have a long history, and some are just beginning your Catholic education journey. No matter your history, you are committed to the success of St. Gabriel because you are here! Help us celebrate Catholic education and all of the success, faith, excellence, and service Catholic schools provide as we incorporate the theme which is “Catholic Schools: United in Faith and Community. We will celebrate next week through meaningful activities to recognize and show appreciation to our St. Gabriel community.
We appreciate your commitment to St. Gabriel and Catholic education!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Schulz
Assistant Principal
