Spring MAP testing begins Tuesday, April 8. Please make an extra effort to ensure your child arrives on time, eats breakfast, and has a snack on testing days. While MAP is only one snapshot of how your child is doing, it does provide valuable data to help teachers plan instruction to meet your child's learning needs and evaluate our academic program. NEW: Students may bring mints on their testing days (no gum or other candy).
Each Lent, Catholic families across the country unite to put their faith into action through prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Through CRS Rice Bowl, families learn about how our sisters and brothers across the globe overcome hardships like hunger and climate change, and how through Lenten alms, we have the power to make the world wl a better place for all.
Rice bowls will be sent home this week. On Fridays during Lent, students are invited to bring in coins for our Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl Penny Challenge. Each grade will have a jug in the cafeteria during morning carpool. Individual rice bowls returned the week of March 24 will earn extra points towards the homeroom total. Rice Bowls are due April 17. Please label with child's name and homeroom.

Recharge, Reconnect, Reset
Dear Parents/ Guardians,
Spring break is here, and it’s a wonderful opportunity for students to rest, recharge, and reset for a strong finish to the school year! As we take this well-deserved pause, here are a few ways you can help your child make the most of their break.
Rest and Recharge
After months of hard work, students need time to relax and reset. Encourage them to catch up on sleep, take a break from screens, and enjoy some quiet downtime. Whether it’s reading a book, getting outside for fresh air, or simply unwinding, rest is essential for their well-being.
Spend Time with Family and Friends
Spring break is a perfect time to reconnect as a family. Plan a game night, take a trip, or simply enjoy quality time together. These moments help students feel supported and refreshed as they prepare for the remainder of the school year.
Reset for a Strong Finish
As the break comes to an end, help your child ease back into a routine by setting small goals, getting organized, and returning with a positive mindset. A little preparation can go a long way in making the last part of the school year successful!
We hope you and your family have a restful and enjoyable spring break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back, refreshed and ready for a great finish to the school year!
Warm regards,
Jessica Lefevre and Kelsey Dyar
*NEW* Calendars (2025-26 Calendar now available)
MySchoolBucks (lunch account)
Thank you so much to our guest speakers for sharing their knowledge with our students for Celebrate Our Differences month!
Thank you to the families who completed the technology survey. We received 115 responses. The technology committee reviewed the answers in our meeting earlier this week. These were some of the common themes:
Most commonly used forms of communication: Trumpets, texts
Concern: Too many apps (teacher communication- each teacher doing something different, campus departments each have their own communication platforms)
Would like more training for Schoology
Parents prefer videos/ digital resources for training
Want to ensure balance of using technology tools and non-tech activities
Want to ensure students are good digital citizens and safe online
The committee will use this feedback to inform future goal setting for our 2025-2028 technology plan. Thank you for your feedback!
