Saint Gabriel School Weekly Newsletter for Parents
Winter MAP testing begins January 8. Please make an extra effort to ensure your child arrives on time, eats breakfast, and has a snack on testing days. While MAP is only one snapshot of how your child is doing, it does provide valuable data to help teachers plan instruction to meet your child's learning needs.
St. Gabriel PTSO’s Father/Daughter dance will take place Saturday, January 11th. Tickets are now on sale online. Tickets will only be available online and will not be available at the door the day of the event. Keepsakes are guaranteed if tickets are purchased by December 20. The theme is Hollywood, and we look forward to a night of friends, music and a chocolate fountain.
We Wish You a Merry Christmas
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the joyous Christmas season, it is a wonderful opportunity for us to reflect on the many blessings we hold dear in our lives. This festive time of year serves as an important reminder of the true meaning of Christmas, centered around the birth of Jesus Christ. His arrival brought us love, hope, and joy, a message that resonates deeply and remains unchanged year after year.
While we will miss our students during the holiday break, we want to take this moment to express our heartfelt wishes for a safe and joyous Christmas. It is easy to become immersed in the hustle and bustle that often accompanies this season, but let us not forget to embrace the spirit of giving and togetherness.
We wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, filled with love and cherished moments.
Warm regards,
Kelsey Dyar

It’s that time of year. The weather is turning colder, and it's time to bundle up outside. We do go outside for recess even when the weather is cold so please send your child with a coat, hat, and gloves. Students need to wear a Saint Gabriel sweatshirt with their uniform. All non-uniform sweatshirts or jackets are removed when inside. Be sure to LABEL these items so they can be returned if lost.

We are working on getting a new online payment system in place and will send out information when it's available. All lunch account balances (both positive and neugative) will transfer to the new system.
When we return, we will have keypads for the serving lines. Students will need to work on memorizing their five-digit FACTS number. Ms. Michelle can still type them in for a week or so while they're learning.
