This is from the Barefoot Contessa...
YOU WILL NEED:
1 can organic garbanzo beans, mostly drained
1 ½ t kosher salt
3-4 cloves garlic, pressed
¼ cup tahini
Juice of two lemons
Several dashes hot sauce (I like Cholula)
Optional: empty the can of garbanzos into a medium sauce pan with a pinch of salt and a smashed garlic clove and bring to a gentle boil. Allow to simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes. Cool.
Or just put everything in the bowl of your Cuisinart and process until smooth. Serve with pita chips, baby carrots and trimmed celery.
