Hummus

This is from the Barefoot Contessa...

YOU WILL NEED:

  • 1  can organic garbanzo beans, mostly drained
  • 1 ½ t kosher salt
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, pressed
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • Juice of two lemons
  • Several dashes hot sauce (I like Cholula)

Put everything in the bowl of your mini-prep cuisinart and process until smooth. Serve with pita chips, baby carrots and trimmed celery.

This provides a good excuse to get a Cuisinart Mini Prep. I use it for all my small chopping and blending and I love it. 

 Serve with trimmed carrots, celery and those irresistible pita chips
