Hondashi Miso

This recipe, courtesy of Beth,  is dependent on a good, MSG-free hondashi. Look for it in a Japanese market.

YOU WILL NEED

  • Hondashi
  • White miso
  • 4 ounces tofu, cubed
  • Wakame
  • Green onions

METHOD

Boil 3 cups water.

Add:

  • 1 t hondashi
  • 1/4 cup miso

Simmer for one minute.

Add tofu and small handful wakame and simmer for another minute.

Garnish with sliced green onions and serve.
