What we Know so far

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire was initially meant to release in theaters on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023. In late July 2023, Sony Pictures revealed that the film was being pushed back to March 29, 2024, due to the ongoing Actor Strikes. 

In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started, the iconic New York City firehouse, to team up with the original Ghostbusters. They’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. When the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters, new and old, must join forces to protect their home and save the world from more ghosts.

My Opinion

I was let down hard from Ghostbuster: Afterlife just being a modernized version of the first Ghostbuster. I don’t exactly have high hopes for this movie. To start off, we don’t exactly need any new Ghostbuster movies, we’ve already had 4 Ghostbuster movies. I don’t think we need another one. Second, the effect is over, the glory days of Ghostbusters are over, the actors are old and the plot seems to repeat itself.
