Report Cards
Report cards were emailed out on Tuesday, November 21st, so if you have not yet checked yours make sure to do so now! To find your report card, look for the email mentioning it and then use your OEN to access it.
Grad Portraits
Graduation portraits for all 2024 graduates are being taken between November 20th and December 1st. If you signed up for one, make sure to attend your session! There will also be retake days soon, so if you missed the day you had booked for your portrait session, make sure to reschedule!
Music Concert & Art Show
On December 14th, there will be a music concert and art show! If you’re interested, make sure to listen to the morning announcements for more updates!
Winter Break
Winter Break is finally coming up! Everyone will be able to enjoy a nice relaxing 2 weeks without school. The break begins on December 25th, or December 23rd counting the weekend. After the two weeks, of course everyone will have to return back to school on January 8th, but the point is that you can now start counting down the days that are left until Winter Break!
Clubs
Theatre Club
Theatre club’s production I Am Frankenstein is now being performed (Nov 30 - Dec 2nd)! If you haven’t already, buy tickets for the show in the atrium during high school lunch or from School Cash Online. Tickets are 5 or 10 dollars for students, depending on the show date and 15$ for adults. To stay updated on what’s going on with the theatre club, be sure to follow @ldhsstheatre on Instagram!
Mathletes
In case you’ve forgotten, or are interested in joining, Mathletes has workshops every 2nd Wednesday of the month. The next Mathletes workshop is on December 13th, be sure to attend if you are interested in it, because everyone is always welcome to join!
Sports
Senior Boys Volleyball
Our Senior LDHSS Boys Volleyball team recently finished a great season of volleyball! They finished 2nd place in the NCSSAA Tier 2 Division and did amazing overall! They are doing great and will hopefully keep up the great work!
