Total time: 1 hr 30 mins
In a liquid measuring cup, combine one cup of warm milk and one packet of yeast (2 ¼ teaspoons).
In a mixing bowl add 4 cups of flour, ¼ teaspoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt.
To the dry mix, add 2 eggs, ½ cup of butter, and the yeast-milk mixture.
Knead the dough for about 15 minutes until everything is smooth.
Set the dough back in the bowl and cover with plastic wrap for about an hour.
Once the dough has finished rising, divide into circles then leave the dough to rise again for 30 minutes
Once your donuts have risen, you can fry them. Choose to fry them however you like!
Once finished, dip into melted butter, then roll in a mixture of 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon.
Finish with caramelized apples and, if desired, a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
