Student
1. The employment statuses ‘Not Looking for Work,’ ‘Unavailable for Work,’ and ‘Retired’ will now update the PoP summary record employment columns when added to a student record
Student Searches
1. The ‘Term’ field has been added to the search grid in the student enrollment searches (Searches->Enrollments->Class - All Students, Class-Enrolled Students)
2. The row 'Search for students with Incorrect Assessment or Level Data' has been removed from the student diagnostic search. This row was based on FY data and was no longer applicable.
3. A new student Assessment Diagnostic Search has been added at Searches->Assessments. This search runs on the reporting system, and currently has 3 rows:
Students pretested in multiple subject areas in any PoP
Displays students who were pretested in multiple subject areas and subtests. For example, a student may have been pretested with a TABE in Reading, Math, and Language, but is being tracked in Reading, or pretested with a BEST Plus 2.0 and CASAS Life and Work Reading.
Students posttested in multiple subject areas in any PoP
Displays students who were posttested in multiple subject areas. For example, a student may have been pre and post tested with a TABE in Reading, Math, and Language, but is being tracked in Reading, or pre and post tested with a BEST Plus 2.0 and CASAS Life and Work Reading.
Students completed a level in a non-tracked subject area in any PoP
Students who completed a level in a subject area that they are not being tracked in. For example, this student would count on all 3 rows of the search:
Assessments
1. Based on information from CASAS, the assessments ‘CASAS Secondary Level-Mathematics’ and ‘CASAS Secondary Level – Reading for Language Arts’ may be used as posttests for ‘CASAS Life Skills Math’ and ‘CASAS Life and Work Reading.’ To remedy this, ‘CASAS Secondary Level-Mathematics’ has been moved to the list of subtests under ‘CASAS Life Skills Math’ forms 505M and 506M, and CASAS Secondary Level – Reading for Language Arts’ has been moved to the list of subtests under ‘CASAS Life and Work Reading’ forms 513R and 514R.
2. English forms J, K, and L have been added to the TASC assessment.
3. A scaled score of 0 may now be entered on the assessment card for TABE and CASAS assessments to populate levels ABE L1 and ESL L1.
Staff Searches
1. The ability to search for staff credentials has been added to the staff search criteria builder at the category for 'Diploma Info.'
2. A staff diagnostic search has been added.
Staff
Based on information from the NRS, staff members may now have multiple classifications assigned for inclusion on Table 7. To accomplish this, the following workflow has been implemented. (Please refer to the Table 7 instructions for more information.)
1. Enter a staff record.
2. Classification, Employment Status, and Full-Time are required fields. The data entered into these fields will display as read-only fields on the Staff Key Info page. A record will be created at the Classifications tab with the same start date entered at the time of intake.
3. Additional classifications may be added by opening the Classifications panel at the Staff Data tab.
4. The most recent record by start date will display in these fields when multiple classification records are entered.
Rules:
1. A staff may not be counted for 2 full-time classifications.
2. A staff may be counted for multiple part time classifications.
3. A staff may be counted for a full-time and one or more part-time classifications.
Additionally:
If a staff member is fulfilling one full-time or two or more part-time classifications, then an end date is not necessary on any of the records; the staff will count on Table 7 for each valid classification in the year they were active. Active is indicated by an ‘active’ staff history record or a class assignment with the start date in the current FY.
If the staff member is fulfilling two full-time classifications, then one must have an end date. Only the record without an end date will be counted on Table 7. If neither record has an end date, then the staff would not count on Table 7.
If two full-time classifications are entered on the same start date, and both have an end date, then the classification with the most recent end date in the reporting year would count on Table 7.
If two full-time classifications are entered on the same start date, and both have the same end date, then count in the order of priority

IMPORTANT NOTE: If your agency has a staff member who was a part time teacher in a previous FY who is now a full time teacher in the current FY will count on Table 7 as both a full time and part time teacher if neither record has an end date. Adding an end date to the previous FY record will prevent the staff from counting as a teacher twice. Do not delete a record that counts in a previous FY.
For example, add an end date to the part time record in the previous FY to prevent the staff member from counting as both a full time and part time teacher in the current FY:
