Fixes/Updates

Assessments

1.  ACT Workkeys has been approved by OCTAE to populate NRS levels.  Currently this assessment ONLY displays in the ABE clients whose assessment policies include ACT Workkeys.   The guide with instructions for test coordinators may be downloaded from the ACT Workkeys website by searching for "Assigning National Reporting System Forms."  The form has also been added here for your convenience: ACT Workkeys - assigning NRS system forms. 

Barriers to Employment

1.  A change has been made in LACES to prevent multiple Barriers to Employment records from having the same start date.  The following error message will display if a new record is entered with the same start date as an existing Barriers to Employment record, or if the start date of one record is edited to match the start date of an existing record. 

ERROR

Could not save Student Barriers to Employment History Edit : *Another PersonEmploymentBarriersHistory record already exists with this Start Date. Only one record allowed per day.

NOTE:  When an existing student record is updated through the student import or through the student portal where the Barriers to Employment record "Start Date" fields have the same value, the existing record is updated with the new values from the import.

Cross Agency Tracking

1. When creating a new student record and using cross agency tracking to "Copy and Link" an existing student in a different agency to the current agency, Pair hours were not copied with the correct "Hours Type" value and displaying a blank field. Pair hours are associated with the "Instruction" hours type. This has been corrected.

2. The Student Intake page was not returning a blank student intake when clicking on the "Save and New" button after Copy and Linking an existing student. This has been corrected.

Documents Panel

1.  A separate download icon has been added to the grid at the student, staff, and tutor Documents panels.  The "Document Category" and "Document Type" fields in existing records may now be edited by selecting the edit icon.  

NOTE:  This only affects clients and agencies who have access to the Documents panels. 

Enrollments

1. The field "Instruction at 9th Grade Level or Above" has been added to the student Enrollments tab default view.  The field has also been added to the view manager and search at the All Student Enrollments area.  

Merge

1.  "Employment Status" and "Employment Status at Intake" have been removed from the Merge Students window.  

2.  The field "Employment Status at Intake" is now automatically calculated from the record with the earliest intake date.
